    Frequently asked questions

    Does rotating lose quality?

Rotating by 90, 180, or 270 degrees moves pixels without resampling, so the image stays sharp. JPEG output is re-encoded at high quality.

Can I fix a sideways phone photo?

Yes. Pick 90° left or right and the photo is saved with the correct orientation baked into the pixels, so it displays upright everywhere.

What is the difference between the two flips?

Flip horizontally mirrors left and right, like a mirror. Flip vertically turns the image upside down without rotating it.

    How do I un-mirror a selfie?

Apply Flip horizontally. Front cameras usually save a mirrored image; one horizontal flip restores the way other people see you, including readable text on clothing.

Can I rotate several photos at once?

Yes. Add up to 5 photos and the chosen rotation or flip is applied to the whole batch in one click.
